He was born in İzmir; he danced, he wove and he touched. His works have been exhibited in many cities from London to New York, from Paris to Abu Dhabi; they were sold at Sotheby's and Christie's, and he made the cover of the Christie's catalogue. According to Artsy data, in 2020 he was one of the world's 10 most followed textile artists — and the only Turkish artist.

Fırat Neziroğlu presents a contemporary approach to the traditional woven-picture technique with the elements of light, shadow, and VOID that he brings to it. This technique he developed is known by his own name within contemporary art worldwide. The transparency of the threads used in his works and the sculptural use of void invite the viewer to a meaning beyond the material.
